Rain and Ride Guideline: Unless otherwise notified by email or phone, or as posted on the CH Y website, or unless the morning of the ride or by noon of an afternoon ride we still have considerable rain in the riding area, please consider all Chapter Rides a "GO". If you are unsure, then please phone the listed point of contact at least 2 hours ahead of time or the Chapter Directors at H - 703-729-0829. You can also check the frontpage of this website just before the ride for the latest update.

5-7 March 2010, Wingless Weekend Join us in Williamsburg for a weekend of entertainment, competitions, prizes and seminars. The theme this year will be "Fairy Tales and Fables," so break out your unicorns, dragons, and ogres, and join all of your VA District friends in Williamsburg for a weekend of fun and games. Registration will be $30 per person, including banquest on Sat. night. Rooms will be $75 per night. Friday Evening Costume Party, Saturday Seminars and Classes, Saturday Evening Banquet (GWRRA Formal), Sunday Officers Call. 13 March 2010, 10 AM - 3 PM, Chapter Y Annual Shamrock Ride Chapter Y’s Annual Shamrock Lunch Ride to the Shamrock Restaurant, Thurmont MD. Meet at the Leesburg Saddle Up at the Roy Rogers in the Safeway Parking lot, 415 S. King St., at 10 AM. Team ride to the Shamrock Restaurant. For more information contact Susan Rodgers.

21 March 2010, 2 - 4:45 PM, Pre Monthly Social Gathering Ride to Boonesboro Ice Cream Join us for our first pre-monthly social gathering ride of the season. 10 April 2010, CH Y Parking Lot Practice A parking lot practice to improve your driving skills through many of the maneuvers performed in the experienced rider course. Co-riders are encouraged to participate. Contact Chapter Educator John Howe.

11 April 2010, 9 AM - 5 PM, Experienced Rider Course A Motorcycle Safety Foundation Experienced Rider Course just for Goldwing riders. Contact Chapter Director Bill Rodgers.

17 April 2010, 11:00 - 5:00 PM, Ride to Fort Valley for the Ham & Oyster Feast Meet at the Roy Roger's in the Safeway Parking Lot at 451 S King St, Leesburg VA at 11 AM. We will ride to Fort Valley for the Ham & Oyster Feast. Last year's ride was a big hit: good ride and good food! For more information contact Chapter Ride Coordinator Bob Fennell.

8 Aug 2009, 9:00 - 5:00 PM UPDATE: CH Y Top Gun Practice and Pick-Up Ride. The day will be divided into three parts. Top Gun practice for 2 1/2 hours, lunch at Pot Belly's, and a pick-up ride lasting 2 hours after lunch.

24 Oct 2009, 8AM - 5 PM, Fall Colors Ride for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society The Gold Wing Road Riders Association (GWRRA), Virginia Chapter Y, Leesburg, VA, sponsored a fall colors fund raiser charity ride for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Funds raised went to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, a 501(3)c Tax Deductible organization, honoring both Robbie Palmer and Jordan Roberts.
