Congratulations to the new GWRRA Road Captains, Keith Rutledge and Forrest Sisson. Both took the Road Captains’ Course on Saturday, 12 May, at the Purcelville Library, and completed their on-the-road evaluations in the afternoon through uncommon heavy traffic. Also in attendance were Chapter Director (CD) Matt Caradonna, Chapter Educator (CE) Wil Bell, Assistant Chapter Director (ACD) Claire Miller, Claude Davenport, and Virginia District Educator (VADE) John Howe, who brushed up on team riding and road captain skills. Rick Baker presented the course. CE Wil Bell conducted the final certification, with participants riding as part of the team for the new candidates testing as “Lead” and “Drag,” each.
