Update 1: Meet time: 9 AM; Return time approx 4:45 PM.

Updated: You will make three (3)VA-Y Grand Tour Stops! We will stop at Richards Fruit Market, Lahmansville Cemetery, and Shirley's Diner. Lunch will be at the Kac-Ka-Pon Restaurant in Wardensville, WV, after Richard's Fruit Market. We will meet at 9 AM at the Roy Rogers in the Safeway parking lot in Leesburg for a day ride through West Virginia. Return to Leesburg around 5:00 PM. Contact Bob Fennell.

You may sign up for this ride by logging in and using the "Signups" tab above. If you don't have a Username and Password, then email the Website Content Manager Rick Baker (click here).

If you logon, then you can also download and print a map of the route attached below (.pdf).

If you have a GARMIN GPS, you might want to logon and download a copy of the GARMIN (.gdb) route files attached below. To use them, logon and download them to your computer. Open the files in your GARMIN navigation software, like MAPSOURCE or ROADTRIP, and then open the "route properties." On the route properties page, "Recalculate" the route, which will use your "map" data and ride preferences. Then, "Save" the route file. Then, "Transfer" the route(s) and waypoints (and maps, if appropriate) to your GPS. If you are loading a 2012 GL1800 Navigation System, then you must save the MapSource file as a .gpx file, import it into "Trip Planner," and then output the route to your SD Card.

NOTE:
1. When using the Firefox Browser, OPEN the .gdb file with the "Browse" button and select your MapSource or RoadTrip Program.
2. When using the Internet Explorer Browser, SAVE the .gdb file in the folder you want and save the file with the file name you like and use the .gdb file extension. Then, open your MapSource or RoadTrip Program and open that file.

The ride will end in Leesburg, or you can make arrangements to split off earlier with the Road Captain.

Camping reservations are required if you are going to the Park on Friday.

VA-Y plans a Saturday ride to the picnic from the Haymarket Sheetz, if you are not camping.
